Full Text: A social media page, Inside Grand Gedeh On Thursday, September 26, 2024, it was posted that a young woman, 21 years old, identified as Promise Bowah, was allegedly killed by her 23-year-old boyfriend, Madison Garpeh.
According to the post, Bowah was four months pregnant and was reportedly murdered alongside her five-year-old child in White Plain, Upper Caldwell.
The post, however, claims that authorities are currently searching for Garpeh, who is evading capture after allegedly committing the act. As of the time we checked, the post generated 50 reactions, 34 comments, and 2 shares.

Verification: To verify this claim, we contacted the Spokesperson of the Liberia National Police, Cecelia Clarke, who told TSM that the deceased was 6 months pregnant and that the suspect, Madison Garpeh, has been arrested and is currently in police custody.
Clarke also confirmed that the suspect is yet to speak a word and couldn’t confirm whether or not he was the one who killed the Promise Bowah.
The police also issued a press release on the incident.
Conclusion: Based on our research, TSM concludes that the post by Inside Grand Gedeh and other blogs is correct and that the suspect, Madison, is currently in the custody of the Liberia National Police.
