Abraham Darius Dillon, Montserrado County Senator, in a Facebook post alleged that President George M. Weah after the Festive season celebration will dismiss Samuel D. Tweah, Minister of Finance and Development Planning.
“After the Christmas and New Year Holidays, Pres. Weah will do himself and the country good. He will fire Samuel Tweah. Tweah did not belong there in the first place,” the senator post reads.
But the Presidential Press Secretary, Isaac Solo Kelgbeh told the Stage media in a brief WhatsApp interview that the information is not to his Knowledge.
“I don’t know Dillion source. This is not to my knowledge. Dillion should be giving you his sources,” Kelgbeh said.
Kelgbeh said, “Dillon is not the Presidential Press Secretary; therefore, the President will not provide information to the public through him.”
Additionally, he said if Dillon is sure of his information, let him show the date President Weah will dismiss Tweah adding, “If the President wants to dismiss anyone, I will receive the information and immediately inform the public.”
