Geraldine Janet George is Liberian first Deputy Female Chief of Staff, Armed Forces of Liberia.
On Monday, Montserrado County District 8, lawmaker, Acarous Gray on Prime FM stated that Ms. George is the first Deputy Female Army General in West Africa.
TSM research shows that Ms. George is not the first, Aderonke Kale, a Nigerian who was a colonel and deputy commander of the Nigerian Army Medical Corps by 1990. She was later promoted to the rank of brigadier-general and in doing so became the first female general in West Africa.
