Verification: To verified this
claim,
The Stage Media (TSM) send a messenger inquiry to both
Nimba Prince and
Political Ben two of whom widely posted about the musician involvement with alleged ritualistic activities to provide sources of their claims.
In response, Political Ben redirected us to other bloggers.
"Please go to all the bloggers and ask them thanks," the page reasoned. When further asked for the reason the image is being used as a Cover photo, Ben read the message but did not respond. When Ben or Nimba Prince respond, this story will be updated.
While trying to verify the claim, TSM came across a post that was shared by
S.I.O Fan Base on June 27, 2025. Probably a post that started the
rumors surrounding his fame and worth on social media.
We discovered that some of those
bloggers even shared the same post claiming that S.I.O. has gone to seek traditional power or join a secret cult for both fame and money as seen in the image below.
The Image was posted by S.I.O Fan and shared by those bloggers
We contacted S.I.O via a telephone conversation to clarify those allegations. He told our fact-checker that it was the first video shoot that was for a song he released this year called “
Time.”
According to him, after the video shoot, he decided not to use the image because it was not visually appealing.
“So I did not actually like the visual, that is why I did not use it, but that was my release. So you believe that was juju something? Look, you do juju something and be taking picture?” he questioned. “I don’t know, but I just got the emotion not to post the video, but now that it has drawn attraction and people are discussing it, I am going to post the video,” S.I.O responded.
Conclusion: After reviewing all of the post and videos, TSM found no evidence of the musician involvement into ritualistic activities for fame and riches as the social media bloggers and users make the public to believed. Instead, TSM see the posts as an attempt to dis-informed the public and S.I.O's fan based.
