A vehicle in President George Weah convoy has wounded a man at the Liberty Party headquarters.
In a live video, Police Inspector General Patrick Sudue called for calm as the jubilant partisans of the party took to the street where the incident occurred.
The Collaboration of Political Parties was celebrating its pre-election victory at the Liberty Party.
The Liberian government through the Ministry of Information is expected to speak about the incident.
The victim is currently at the ELWA hospital seeking medical care as officials of government are guiding the place.
It is not known if the victim may need an amputation on the right leg.
It is also unknown if the President was in the convoy when the accident occurred.

The incident took place on the Bong County highway between Gbarnga and Totota, near the Charles Taylor Market.
