Verification: To verify the claim, we reviewed official election results from the National Elections Commission at necliberia.org, the institution responsible for conducting national elections in Liberia.

According to NEC's 2023 Presidential Election first round results, the CDC accumulated 27.37 percent of votes in Lofa County, not 30 percent as claimed.

According to NEC's 2023 Presidential run-off election results, the CDC accumulated 35.40 percent of votes in Lofa County.

We contacted Shine Liberia via WhatsApp to inquire about the source of their claim. They responded, "There may be. Not sure of the information; that's why we use "maybe." Good morning."
