Full Text: Nimba is going to a bi-election next Tuesday, 22nd April. The vacancy was caused by the death of Prince Johnson, who controlled the body politic of the county for over a decade as "political godfather."
At the LMDI’s Nimba County 2025 Senatorial By-Election Debate, Farngalo (41minutes 46 seconds), a candidate in the senatorial by-election, claimed that there are about 306,000 registered voters in Nimba while rebutting points made by candidate Garrison Yealue.
Political debates before elections are crucial for voters as they allow candidates to express ideas, assess positions, and expose inconsistencies, making them a key part of a transparent electoral process.
Verification : We checked the National Elections Commission (NEC) website and found the final 2023 voter registration report. The report shows that Nimba County has 307,254 registered voters.
