The hosts on Spoon FM raise concern about the deployment of AFL personnel on the streets of Nimba. This was during a live coverage of Tuesday's poll.

On Tuesday, April 22, 2025, the National Elections Commission held a by-election in Nimba County to fill the vacancy post of Prince Johnson, who died in November of 2024.

To verify this claim, The Stage media contacted Oscar Mulbah, communication officer, Ministry of National Defense.

Mulbah responded, "I haven't taken a seat so I am not clothed to speak authoritatively. However, the information isn't true."

Our team, who covered the event, saw no AFL presence across Saniqulle and Gompa City. The team witnesses the presence of police officers at the different precinct  and at the Gompa police detachment.

Verdict: Therefore, the claim is misleading.
