Full text: During late Sunday evening hours, May 25, 2025, a popular Facebook Blog in Margibi posted and claimed that a girl identified as Naomi Dorbor allegedly killed her boyfriend along the Kakata – Weala highway.
The claim "‘A girl identified as Naomi Dorbor has allegedly killed her boyfriend George Yango who resided at Stewart Farm along the Weala_kakata high way."
According to eye witnesses, Naomi insisted that Yango go along at her house to sleep, but George Yango insisted NO.
Naomi got angry, took a stick, and strategically mobbed Yango at the back of his head which led to his untimely death.
Police in Margibi County are in search of Naomi, while an investigation is ongoing.
Verification: To authenticate this claim, we contacted Liberia National Police Kakata Detachment Commander Acting Commissioner of Police (ACP) Patrick B. Kormazu.
Commander Kormazu confirmed that Naomi, age 28 was arrested and charged for ‘Manslaughter’ for killing her ex-boyfriend.
Speaking further, he lamented that Naomi confessed during the police preliminary investigation to the commission of the crime. According to him, Naomi narrated that Yango, the deceased who was in his early 40s, was her ex-boyfriend but attempted to fix things with her but she refused, and he insisted that they both meet at her house.
Conclusion: It is confirmed that the claim about Naomi killing her boyfriend is correct. According to the Kakata police, she confessed that she killed her ex-lover, Yango.
