A claim circulating on social media that there are pre-marked ballots in the country in favour of the ruling party (Coalition for Democratic Change) candidates is disputed and untenable.
According to the National Elections Commission Communications (NEC) Director, the NEC will inform the media and other stakeholders to receive ballot papers whenever they arrive.
He said the ballot papers are then escorted by armed police officers to a secured location that is also guarded by armed men and women.
