The claim that Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC) chairperson Cllr. Ndubuisi Nwabudike has resigned is True but formal communication is yet to be seen.

Cllr. Nwabudike has been under scrutiny by the public including the Liberia National Bar Association.

His nationality came into questioning during a Senate confirmation hearing when he was nominated to be the Chairman of the National Elections Commission (NEC) though he was still serving a tenure position at the LACC.

Cllr. Nwabudike has openly said that he will resign but has not submitted any official communication to the Executive Mansion.

Verdict: True, But…

Press Secretary Isaac Kelgbeh said he cannot confirm or deny formal action or recipient of a communication from Cllr. Nwabudike by the office of the  President.
