Claim: “Information reaching us says one of President Weah staunch critics in Representative Yekeh Kolubah of District-10 who flew for Ghana a week ago is dead.”

Full Text: Viral Social Media post on Facebook and WhatsApp has circulated a claim that Montserrado District 10 lawmaker, Yekeh Kolubah is dead. There is no cause of death, but representative Kolubah is currently in Ghana.

He is a tough critic of the current regime and Lawmaker Kolubah is a stalwart of the Collaborating Political Parties (CPP), which includes the Liberty Party (LP), Alternative National Congress (ANC), All Liberian Party (ALP) and the former ruling Unity Party (UP). Representative Kolubah contested as an independent candidate in 2017. (Canadian pharmacy)

Of recent, The House suspended him for 16 -session days for allegedly raining insults on President George Weah.

Also, a reporter of Prime of FM, Prince Mulbah posted on his Facebook page wrote “I am not dead! I am safe and healthy. I am with my family in Ghana but will officially inform the Liberian people through the media later today”.

Says Representative Yekeh Kolubah when I briefly spoke with him via WhatsApp from Ghana.

the District 10 lawmaker said, “ I want to say that I am living and will be back very soon, so we can be able to create the war and economic crime court.”

Conclusion: From the verification, District No. 10 lawmaker Yekeh Kolubah is not dead, the claim is false.
