Government Resumes Covid-19 Updates

The National Public Health Institute in collaboration with the Ministry of Health has resumed updates of #COVID19 cases in Liberia.
Our FactCheck on January 4, 2021, established that NPHIL’s last update was December 17 and 18, published on its social media pages.
Liberians consistently asked why there is a gap in the reporting but there was no response from either of the government institutions.
The National Public Health Institute of Liberia is the Center of Excellence for better health outcomes for Liberians through a strong health system.
NPHIL is to contribute to the development and sustainability of the public health workforce – Develop, enhance, and expand the surveillance and response platform etc.
